Yes — the 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max all support eSIM with two lines active at once, and US models are eSIM-only with no SIM tray, same as the 14. If you are coming to a 15 from an 11 or 12, the dual-eSIM behaviour is the upgrade worth knowing about.

Coming from an older iPhone

Most people arrive at a 15 from the 11 or 12 era, where only one eSIM could be active alongside the physical SIM. On the 15, two eSIMs run at once — so if your home line is an eSIM, the whole travel setup is home eSIM for calls, travel eSIM for data, nothing in the tray (non-US models still have one).

If you set the 15 up by transferring from your old iPhone, stored eSIMs do not always come along automatically — some carriers transfer the line seamlessly, some need you to reissue it. Sort your home line's eSIM before the trip, not at the gate.

Generation notes

The switch to USB-C changed nothing about eSIM — connectivity is the same as the 14 generation: multiple eSIMs stored, two active, US models trayless.

Mainland-China 15s ship with dual physical SIM and no eSIM. Any imported phone: dial *#06#, look for the EID line.
