What we sell is a prepaid travel eSIM. In the countries listed below, that eSIM connects to the Zain network for data. You get local coverage without signing a contract with Zain, making a store visit, or completing a local sign-up.
How a travel eSIM on the Zain network works
You buy the plan before your trip and it arrives by email with a tap-to-install link and a QR code. When you arrive, your phone connects to Zain's towers (or a partner network, depending on the country) and data works. Your home SIM stays in place and your number does not change.
Where Zain has built out 5G, you get 5G on supported plans. Elsewhere you get 4G, which is fine for maps, messaging, and video calls.
The plan is data only. It does not come with a local phone number, so calls and texts to your regular number still arrive through your home SIM.

Zain across the Middle East and West Africa
Zain covers four countries in our catalog: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Sierra Leone. The Middle Eastern markets are where Zain is headquartered and strongest.
In Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Zain runs a competitive network alongside the other national operators. For business travelers to Riyadh, Jeddah, or Kuwait City, and for pilgrims to Mecca and Medina, coverage is reliable throughout urban areas.
Coverage in each country
Saudi Arabia has nationwide 4G with 5G live in major cities. Zain's Saudi network is one of three nationals, all of which have comparable urban coverage. In Kuwait, Zain covers the whole country — the geography is compact, so 4G reaches everywhere.
In Iraq, coverage is concentrated in Baghdad, Erbil, Basra, and the main cities. Remote areas and border regions have limited or no signal.
Sierra Leone is the only African destination in this group. Freetown and surrounding areas have 4G. Inland and rural coverage is more limited.
