Orange eSIM for travelers

Our travel eSIM plans connect to the Orange network in 18 countries. If you searched for an eSIM for Orange coverage on a trip, this page explains exactly what we sell and where it works.

We are not Orange

eSIMion is not Orange, and we do not sell Orange SIM cards, Orange plans, or Orange top-ups. If you are a Orange customer looking for your own account, contact Orange directly.

What we sell is a prepaid travel eSIM. In the countries listed below, that eSIM connects to the Orange network for data. You get local coverage without a Orange contract, a store visit, or a local sign-up.

How a travel eSIM on the Orange network works

You buy the plan before your trip and it arrives by email with a tap-to-install link and a QR code. When you land, your phone connects to Orange's towers (or a partner network, depending on the country) and data works. Your home SIM stays in place and your number does not change.

Where Orange has built out 5G, you get 5G on supported plans. Elsewhere you get 4G, which is fine for maps, messaging, and video calls.

The plan is data only. It does not come with a local phone number, so calls and texts to your regular number still arrive through your home SIM.

Where our plans use the Orange network

Plans that connect to Orange are available for Cameroon, Canary Islands, Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, France, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Mali and Mayotte and 6 more destinations. Each country page lists the plan sizes and what the network is like on the ground.
