What we sell is a prepaid travel eSIM. In Isle of Man, that eSIM connects to the Manx Telecom network for data. You get local coverage without a Manx Telecom contract, a store visit, or a local sign-up.
How a travel eSIM on the Manx Telecom network works
You buy the plan before your trip and it arrives by email with a tap-to-install link and a QR code. When you land, your phone connects to Manx Telecom's towers and data works. Your home SIM stays in place and your number does not change.
Where Manx Telecom has built out 5G, you get 5G on supported plans. Elsewhere you get 4G, which is fine for maps, messaging, and video calls.
The plan is data only. It does not come with a local phone number, so calls and texts to your regular number still arrive through your home SIM.
