Glo eSIM for travelers
Our travel eSIM plans for Nigeria connect to the Glo network. If you searched for an eSIM for Glo coverage on a trip, this page explains exactly what we sell and where it works.
We are not Glo
eSIMion is not Glo, and we do not sell Glo SIM cards, Glo plans, or Glo top-ups. If you are a Glo customer looking for your own account, contact Glo directly.
What we sell is a prepaid travel eSIM. In Nigeria, that eSIM connects to the Glo network for data. You get local coverage without a Glo contract, a store visit, or a local sign-up.
How a travel eSIM on the Glo network works
You buy the plan before your trip and it arrives by email with a tap-to-install link and a QR code. When you land, your phone connects to Glo's towers and data works. Your home SIM stays in place and your number does not change.
Service on these plans is 4G LTE. Speeds are fine for maps, messaging, and video calls.
The plan is data only. It does not come with a local phone number, so calls and texts to your regular number still arrive through your home SIM.
Our Nigeria plans on Glo
Our Nigeria eSIM plans ride on Glo. The Nigeria page lists every plan size, validity, and what to expect from the network on the ground.
