ETL eSIM for travelers

Our travel eSIM plans for Laos connect to the ETL network. If you searched for an eSIM for ETL coverage on a trip, this page explains exactly what we sell and where it works.

We are not ETL

eSIMion is not ETL, and we do not sell ETL SIM cards, ETL plans, or ETL top-ups. If you are a ETL customer looking for your own account, contact ETL directly.

What we sell is a prepaid travel eSIM. In Laos, that eSIM connects to the ETL network for data. You get local coverage without a ETL contract, a store visit, or a local sign-up.

How a travel eSIM on the ETL network works

You buy the plan before your trip and it arrives by email with a tap-to-install link and a QR code. When you land, your phone connects to ETL's towers and data works. Your home SIM stays in place and your number does not change.

Service on these plans is 4G LTE. Speeds are fine for maps, messaging, and video calls.

The plan is data only. It does not come with a local phone number, so calls and texts to your regular number still arrive through your home SIM.

Our Laos plans on ETL

Our Laos eSIM plans ride on ETL. The Laos page lists every plan size, validity, and what to expect from the network on the ground.
