We are not Drei
eSIMion is not Drei, and we do not sell Drei SIM cards, Drei plans, or Drei top-ups. If you are a Drei customer looking for your own account, contact Drei directly.
What we sell is a prepaid travel eSIM. In Austria, that eSIM connects to the Drei network for data. You get local coverage without a Drei contract, a store visit, or a local sign-up.
How a travel eSIM on the Drei network works
You buy the plan before your trip and it arrives by email with a tap-to-install link and a QR code. When you land, your phone connects to Drei's towers and data works. Your home SIM stays in place and your number does not change.
Where Drei has built out 5G, you get 5G on supported plans. Elsewhere you get 4G, which is fine for maps, messaging, and video calls.
The plan is data only. It does not come with a local phone number, so calls and texts to your regular number still arrive through your home SIM.
