We are not BASE
eSIMion is not BASE, and we do not sell BASE SIM cards, BASE plans, or BASE top-ups. If you are a BASE customer looking for your own account, contact BASE directly.
What we sell is a prepaid travel eSIM. In Belgium, that eSIM connects to the BASE network for data. You get local coverage without a BASE contract, a store visit, or a local sign-up.
How a travel eSIM on the BASE network works
You buy the plan before your trip and it arrives by email with a tap-to-install link and a QR code. When you land, your phone connects to BASE's towers and data works. Your home SIM stays in place and your number does not change.
Where BASE has built out 5G, you get 5G on supported plans. Elsewhere you get 4G, which is fine for maps, messaging, and video calls.
The plan is data only. It does not come with a local phone number, so calls and texts to your regular number still arrive through your home SIM.
